Sabatino Ciatti, MD, FAAD, FACMS

Dr. Sabatino Ciatti is a highly experienced, board-certified dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon who has practiced in the heart of Westfield since 1998. Dr. Ciatti focuses his practice on cosmetic dermatology, dermatologic (and laser) surgery, and Mohs surgery. Dr. Ciatti is renowned for his expertise and compassion, and considers it the highest honor to earn the esteem of his colleagues and patients, whom he values tremendously.

Dr. Ciatti is the leading fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon in New Jersey and treats a variety of skin growths and skin cancers. With his mastery of skin cancer excision and post-surgical reconstruction, Dr. Ciatti is well-known for his award-winning cosmetic results and professionalism.

Dr. Ciatti is fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian and considers it a pleasure to serve patients from all backgrounds. In his free time, Dr. Ciatti enjoys spending time with his family.

Education

Dr. Ciatti graduated from Lehigh University summa cum laude and is a Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society recipient. He received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (now Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson University Medical School), where he graduated with the highest honors. Dr. Ciatti was a recipient of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.

Dr. Ciatti trained in dermatology at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he was chief resident. While at Jefferson Medical College, Dr. Ciatti then went on to fellowship training in Mohs micrographic surgery, dermatologic surgery, and laser surgery.

Since 1998, Dr. Ciatti focuses his practice on Mohs micrographic surgery, dermatologic/laser surgery, and cosmetic dermatology.

Board Certification, Societies, and Memberships

Dr. Ciatti is board-certified in dermatology and dermatologic surgery by the American Board of Dermatology. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), the The American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS), and the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology (ACMS).

Awards and Recognition

Dr. Ciatti has been honored in the medical community by esteemed medical organizations, such as America’s Top Surgeons, Strathmore’s Who’s Who, NJ Top Docs, New Jersey Physician, and many others.

Recently, Dr. Ciatti was honored in 2020 by Plastic Surgery Select for his expertise in Mohs surgery and for the superior cosmetic results from his post-Mohs surgical reconstructions. He will also be honored by Marquis’ “Who’s Who” later this year.
