  • Achieve natural, youthful results that last for months.
  • Treatments only take 15 minutes with little-to-no downtime.

what to expect

Prepare for your treatment

Before you get Botox or Dysport, let us know if you’ve had another injectable or filler in the area treated before. In addition, let us know if you’ve ever had a negative reaction to this treatment or a similar treatment. Based on your medical history, your practitioner might prescribe medications for before and after treatment to encourage optimal healing.

Before your treatment

Before you come in for your Botox or Dysport appointment, we advise that you remove most makeup and gently cleanse your face and neck. Before your injections, your practitioner will cleanse the area. Our dermatology team is highly experienced in performing Botox or Dysport injections and will make sure you are as comfortable as possible. If you would like numbing cream, we ask that you let us know beforehand and be prepared to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your appointment. We’re looking forward to seeing you!

During treatment

During your procedure, your dermatologist or physician assistant will inject a series of injections. With each injection, you might feel a slight pinch. Our dermatologists and physician assistants are committed to making sure your injections are as painless as possible. Most of our Botox or Dysport treatments only take about 15 minutes and last for months.

After treatment

After your Botox or Dysport treatment, you might be a red in the injected area, but these side effects will subside within a day or two. Depending on the area treated, you might bruise. When you come in for your Botox or Dysport appointment, we will be sure to give you detailed aftercare instructions to encourage your best results.

dysport®

Are your frown lines making you look angry? Dysport ® is an FDA-approved treatment that improves moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows known as glabellar lines. Dysport can also be used to lift sagging corners of the mouth, raise and even the eyebrows, decrease dimpling in the chin, improve neck lines, and slim the face. Dysport is fast-acting, long-lasting, and our expert dermatologists at Salonika Medspa offer natural looking results.

botox®

As we age, fine lines and wrinkles are common. Whether it be frown lines, crow’s feet, or the appearance of forehead lines, we have a solution for you. Botox ® is an FDA-approved injectable used to temporarily relax and smooth signs of aging on the face. When injected, Botox, which is a special botulinum toxin, relaxes the strong facial muscles responsible for contracting and forming lines that indicate aging.

botox or dysport?

In our experience, Dysport and Botox have unique attributes that make them better for specific treatments. Dysport, like Botox, uses an FDA-approved botulinum toxin to relax the muscles responsible for forming lines on the face. Dysport spreads more after injection, and delivers very natural looking results. Our patients report that Dysport acts faster and lasts longer than Botox. Both Botox and Dysport achieve similar cosmetic goals, and the use of either depends on preferences of the doctor and patient.
