As we age, collagen production slows and we tend to trade volume for wrinkles on our face and body. Radiesse is a highly trusted dermal filler that stimulates collagen production, restores volume, smooths wrinkles, and helps restore tight skin on the face, neck, and hands.
When injected, Radiesse immediately fills folds and wrinkles on the face and neck, like the creases that extend from the nose to the mouth known as Nasolabial folds. Over time, the unique formulation of Radiesse actually encourages an increase in your own collagen production.
Radiesse can also be used to address the loss of volume in the hands. By immediately smoothing the appearance of veins and encouraging collagen production, Radiesse helps restore a youthful appearance.

what to expect
Before you get Radiesse, let us know if you’ve had another injectable or filler in the area treated before. In addition, let us know if you’ve ever had a negative reaction to this treatment or a similar treatment. Based on your medical history, your practitioner might prescribe medications for before and after treatment to encourage optimal healing.
Before you come in for your Radiesse appointment, we advise that you remove most makeup and gently cleanse your face and neck. Before your injections, your practitioner will cleanse the area. Our dermatology team is highly experienced in fillers and will make sure you are as comfortable as possible. We’re looking forward to seeing you!
During your procedure, your dermatologist or physician assistant will inject a series of injections. With each injection, you might feel a slight pinch. Our dermatologists and physician assistants are committed to making sure your injections are as painless as possible. Most of our Radiesse treatments only take about 20 minutes and last for months.
After your Radiesse treatment, you might be a red in the injected area, but these side effects will subside within a few days. Depending on the area treated, you might bruise. When you come in for your Radiesse appointment, we will be sure to give you detailed aftercare instructions to encourage your best results.

A Radiesse injection contains calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA) gel microspheres which interact with our natural collagen production. Our other fillers, like Restylane, use Hyaluronic Acid which is also naturally occurring in the body. Both fillers are highly effective, and one of our dermatologists or physician assistants will help you find the one that’s right for you.
