As we age, the the skin on our faces and necks can lose its elasticity and strength. Lots of our patients seek a non-surgical alternative to improve sagging skin, like turkey neck. At. Salonika Medspa, we offer groundbreaking ultrasound technology by Ulthera to lift, tighten, and restore.
Ultherapy™ is an FDA approved, non-invasive ultrasound procedure that lifts and tightens the skin on the neck, chin, and brow, and improves lines and wrinkles on the décolletage. During your 30 to 90 minute session, focused ultrasound energy penetrates deep below the skin’s surface, stimulating the production of new collagen.
Ultherapy uses traditional ultrasound imaging as a way to look inside your skin. This guided procedure allows us to see precisely where collagen growth is needed for skin tightening to occur.
We can then precisely deliver the Ultherapy treatment to specific depths underneath the skin to successfully address the collagen deficits in multiple layers.
This non-invasive, non-surgical procedure means you can return to your normal routine following treatment. While there are some visible results immediately after the treatment, more noticeable results are visible within two to three months and continue to improve for up to six months. The youthful effects of Ultherapy treatment can last up to three years.

what to expect
Before you come in for your Ultherapy treatment, we ask that you remove your makeup and gently cleanse the area you’re getting treated. Although Ultherapy is comfortable for some patients, feel free to ask us about numbing cream to make your experience completely painless. If you elect to have numbing cream, please be prepared to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your appointment. We’re looking forward to seeing you!
After your dermatologist or physician assistant has assessed your skin, your practitioner will calibrate the Ultherapy machine for your specific treatment parameters. With numbing cream, most of our patients feel little discomfort.
Because of the expertise of our dermatologists and physician assistants, our patients often tell us that our Ultherapy treatments have minimal discomfort and generate youthful results.
After your Ultherapy treatment, you might be a little itchy, red or swollen in the area treated, but these side effects should subside in several days or so. Depending on the area treated, you might also bruise. Our patients generally see noticeable results within a few days after treatment. As the creation of new collagen takes time, your results may continue to improve for up to six months post-treatment.
After Ultherapy, your dermatologist or physician assistant might recommend a non-comedogenic moisturizer and sunscreen. Protecting your skin from the sun is really important. For your convenience, we carry premium broad-spectrum sunscreens sourced from around the globe from EltaMD, Isdin, and more. We are looking forward to seeing you and helping you achieve your aesthetic goals.
